The Cuban influencer and model Juliette Valle has taken social media by storm with a reel on Instagram where she adopts dog-like behaviors in a hilarious parody of the viral phenomenon Therian that has half the world walking on four legs.

In the video, Juliette shines as she serves herself her dog food, laps up water, and even plays with her pet's plush toy in her mouth. The description of the reel says it all: "I'm displaying dog-like behaviors."

Her followers were quick to react with comments like "She comes up with the wildest things"; "You don't mess around with TikTok"; and a flurry of laughter emojis that confirm Juliette knows exactly how to keep her audience entertained.

Juliette joined the trend in her own way: with flair, humor, and without taking herself too seriously. Her carefree style and willingness to laugh at herself are part of what keeps her relevant on social media, where she has built a strong following that eagerly anticipates each new idea she comes up with.

But the video has a final twist that no one saw coming—or perhaps they did, given it's Juliette. What started as a parody of the Therian trend turned out to be an advertising collaboration with a veterinary clinic. At the end of the reel, a veterinarian gives some recommendations: "We've already examined her and everything is fine; she just has a little anxiety, and we've decided to give her a little gift to help her feel better. We've administered all her vaccinations, but the most important thing is to suspend her TikTok."

In other words: Juliette was "treated" as a patient at a veterinary clinic, vaccinations included. The most creative advertising you could expect, but one thing is very clear: be cautious with TikTok consumption.

For those who are not aware of the phenomenon, Therians are individuals who claim to have an internal connection with a specific animal and express it by walking on all fours, wearing masks, and performing "quadrobics." The trend exploded globally in 2026 on TikTok and Instagram.

In Cuba, the trend also arrived and primarily generated local humor, parodies, and quite a bit of generational confusion. A Cuban hairdresser was left in shock when a client requested a special haircut for being a "therian fox," responding with a phrase that went viral: I'm a hairdresser, not a veterinarian. Influencer Kenny Robert also reacted sarcastically to a young woman who identified as a "therian seal," accumulating thousands of views.
