The Cuban reggaeton artist Velito El Bufón surprised his audience during a concert by delivering a direct message to Thalía, his former partner and mother of his two children, assuring her that she will always have his financial support regardless of the circumstances.

The moment was captured on video and spread last Sunday by the TikTok account @la.farandula57, generating extensive debate among its followers regarding the tone and intent of their words.

"Your lifestyle, you are living like a queen, I gave that to you. And you will continue to have it until the day I die, but I don't talk about those things because I'm a man," the artist stated from the stage, in a speech that blended pride, paternal love, and a subtle reprimand towards his ex.

In the same message, Velito acknowledged that his children are the most precious thing he has: "You gave me the most beautiful thing I have been given in this world: the beautiful children."

But the tone wasn’t limited to tenderness. The singer also conveyed a more ambiguous message, telling Thalía that when she makes posts or gives interviews, she should remember "who is the one continuing to support you until you die."

He also added: "I don't care how you behave next to me," making it clear that the financial support, according to him, is unconditional.

The words have divided those who heard them: some interpret them as a gesture of responsibility and generosity from a father who embraces his role, while others read them as a way to publicly assert his territory in front of his ex.

The episode comes amid a breakup that has captured the attention of the Cuban public since February. It was Thalía who confirmed the separation on February 20 through her Instagram stories, explaining that the decision had been made months earlier but that they had not made it public for her emotional well-being, having just given birth to her son Thiago, born on February 9.

"Velito and I broke up a few months ago. He decided to live his life and I decided to live mine," the young woman wrote, asking for respect and adding, "His well-being is the well-being of my children, which is why I will never wish harm upon him."

Since then, Velito has been involved in several media episodes related to the breakup. On March 2, he spoke for the first time on the topic and published "You will always be the most important woman in my life." Days later, rumors emerged linking him to a young woman named Paula Martínez, a cabin crew member seen with him in Spain.

On Monday, March 23, he also released a teaser of a song that his fans immediately interpreted as dedicated to Thalía, featuring lines like "I know I hurt her by swimming with other fish" and the chorus "Man, take care of her... and give her more than I did."

The concert video represents the latest chapter in a story that Velito himself seems determined to keep at the forefront of his public discourse, oscillating between nostalgia, regret, and the pride of being a provider.
