A 28-year-old man was found dead this Wednesday morning in his apartment in Santiago de Cuba, an incident that has shocked neighbors, friends, and family.
The victim was identified as Alejandro Omo Obatalá (Alejandro Chaveco), and known as “Pocho.”
According to preliminary information released by independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada, the death is said to have occurred due to asphyxiation from hanging, although the exact circumstances have not yet been clarified.
"The exact circumstances surrounding the event are still not completely clarified, and investigations are ongoing," the publication stated.
