The Cuban singer Ronkalunga took the stage at the Kaseya Center in Miami alongside Ricardo Arjona during the tour What the Dry One Didn’t Say, marking one of the most significant moments of his career since leaving Cuba, in a performance that shook the Kaseya Center.

Arjona handed over the microphone to perform the hit 'El Carnicero' in front of a packed venue, and he described the Cuban artist as 'an exponent who revives Cuban music'.

Ronkalunga himself described the experience on Instagram with restrained emotion: 'Still processing what happened last night at the Kaseya Center'.

'I don't have enough words to thank Ricardo Arjona for the generosity of inviting me to share his stage. Being with a great artist whom I've admired since I was young and seeing that sea of people and feeling their energy for the first time in such an impressive place was an experience that marked me forever,' wrote the musician.

From the stage, Ronkalunga thanked the audience with a phrase that summed up the moment: "Thank you, brother, thank you. A little bit of Cuba."

The endorsement comes at a time of great momentum for the artist, led by Ronaldo Rodríguez, a troubadour born in Baracoa who blends nueva trova, son, guaracha, songo, changüí, reggae, afrobeat, cumbia, pop, and bolero with lyrics that feature humor and social critique.

His song 'El Carnicero', released in August 2025, became a viral phenomenon both on the island and on digital platforms, propelling him into the Cuban music scene abroad.

The rise has been rapid since he left Cuba. In January 2026, he collaborated with El Chacal on 'Vivito y coleando', and on March 27 of this year, his alliance with producer Emilio Estefan was publicly confirmed, announced on Enrique Santos' podcast, where Ronkalunga spoke about the impact of 'El Carnicero' and criticized the regime's use of reggaeton for distribution.

The tour 'What the Dry Spell Didn't Say', associated with the album SECO (2025) by Arjona, will visit more than 30 cities in the United States starting on January 30, 2026. The four dates at the Kaseya Center in Miami sold out, with the last one scheduled for next Monday, April 6.

Ronkalunga closed his message on social media with a promise: "Thank you, Ricardo, thanks to your team and your musicians for this push and for believing in my music. I enjoyed every second of this great opportunity. Let's keep going strong!"

The next great challenge for the Cuban artist will be his own concert at the Miami Beach Bandshell, scheduled for May 8, 2026.
