William Levy managed to halt the judicial auction of his mansion in Southwest Ranches, Florida, by presenting a signed purchase agreement to a court in Broward County, as reported by journalist Mandy Fridmann from the hearing held last Wednesday.
The debt that the Cuban-American actor owes to the bank exceeds 2.1 million dollars and includes outstanding principal, accrued interest, and legal costs from the proceedings.
According to Fridmann, “Levy already has a purchase agreement” for his residence, which means that “the debt will be covered by the new buyer.”
The journalist also specified that the actor "managed to sell his mansion and is in the process of paperwork," and that the court has granted a new date for June 10, in order to verify the closure of the transaction.
The mortgage conflict became public in early March when the Spanish program "El Tiempo Justo," from the Spanish channel Telecinco, exclusively revealed that the bank Metropolitan Tower Life Insurance had filed a foreclosure lawsuit for non-payment since 2025.
The financial institution tried to contact Levy for almost a year without success before initiating the legal process, which was recorded under case CACE-25-013271.
Amidst the rumors, the actor downplayed the situation during his appearance at the Málaga Film Festival on March 15, where he premiered the film My Dear Miss.
"No, everything is fine, thank God. It's a property I own, among the others I have in my life," she stated in an interview with Europa Press.
And he added: “It’s a property from which I am separating, and we are waiting for the sale, and everything will be fine.”
Sources close to the actor indicated that Levy was hesitant to sell the property, seeing it as an inheritance for his children Christopher and Kailey, the result of his more than 20-year relationship with actress Elizabeth Gutiérrez, from whom he separated at the beginning of 2024.
The luxurious mansion of William Levy and Elizabeth Gutiérrez is a two-story residence covering more than 8,000 square meters, featuring six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a gym, a cinema, an office, a swimming pool, a tennis court, and a garage for three cars.
The land was purchased in 2017 for about $700,000, and the couple built the residence from the ground up in a contemporary style with high-end finishes.
The property was listed on the market in July 2025 for nearly nine million dollars, although by the time of the lawsuit, the price had dropped to approximately $5,995,000.
The recent period has been especially turbulent for Levy: in April 2025, he was arrested at a restaurant in Weston, Florida, for disorderly intoxication and trespassing, although the charges were dropped in October of that year after he completed a first-time offender program.
In March 2026, actor confirmed his new relationship with Jenifer Camacho, a 22-year-old Cuban nurse who graduated from the University of Central Florida.
Just days before the hearing about the mansion, this past Monday, Levy and Gutiérrez came together at their daughter Kailey's 16th birthday party.
The next court hearing scheduled for June 10 will determine whether the sale is finalized under the agreed terms and if the million-dollar debt is definitively settled.
