La Titi (Elisa) didn’t hold back. The former partner of the Cuban reggaeton artist El Uniko publicly reacted to the musical teaser he released —widely interpreted as a diss track aimed at her— and did so with an ironic and defiant tone that has further fueled the controversy on social media.

On her Instagram account, La Titi shared the song with the comment: "I'm nervous, the diss tracks have started. He just wants me to start singing; I'm ready to take that on too. Well, don't cry later." The final warning—"well, don't cry later"—generated the most comments among her followers.

The origin of the conflict dates back to the live where La Titi lashed out at El Uniko on April 30, accusing him of not contributing financially to the household. The phrase that went viral was: “I have to go gogocear to feed the kids, I won’t support you anymore.”

According to comments from followers, La Titi had been doing live broadcasts for over five days talking about the singer before he responded musically.

After several days, El Uniko released a preview of his new song titled «(NI + NI -)» on TikTok and Instagram, with verses full of reproach: «I trusted you, that's why you saw that I put in the effort», «I gave you my soul, I gave you my affection, I gave you everything», «You were the snake that poisoned me». The closing was powerful: «I thank God I freed myself from you. You want to get back together, and the answer is no».

But La Titi didn't just stop at sharing the song. In the comments on the Instagram account @papelencara, she wrote: "My son learns quickly," positioning herself as a dominant figure in the conflict. When a user pointed out that it was all "pure marketing," she responded without hesitation: "A mother is a mother, even if the children leave home."

Several followers speculated that all the controversy could be a content strategy: "Everything is content," wrote one. Another asked, "And I wonder, with all the wonderful things she did for you, aren't you going to release a full album? Or are you only inspired by disappointments?"

The contrast with the couple's past is striking. In July 2022, El Uniko dedicated the romantic song "Mi guerrera" to La Titi with the message: "Not only are you the mother of my children, you are also my friend, my partner, the love of my life." In January 2023, he publicly defended her against attacks on social media with the message: "Do whatever you want, I have your back."

The couple has two children: Benjamín Nelly, born in April 2020, and Lincoln Asallam, born in February 2022.

What started as a couple's conflict during live broadcasts has moved to music and social media, and La Titi's warning—"well, don't cry later"—leaves open the possibility that she might respond in kind...
