La Titi, former partner of the Cuban reggaeton artist El Úniko, sat down this Wednesday on the podcast Dayanoti Show to speak candidly about her breakup after 11 years of relationship, and the name Dany Ome quickly came up in the conversation.
The interview is titled "The Woman of Úniko Arrives in the Booth with Her Self-Love Found" and was conducted by Dayanoti from Miami in a warm and direct tone that allowed La Titi to break down, point by point, the reasons for the breakup.
La Titi was clear from the beginning: the separation was not due to infidelity or a lack of feelings. "I love him with all my heart. He is my husband, I have his name tattooed," she stated, but made it clear that love alone was not enough.
According to his explanation, the breakup was due to several factors: the economic pressure of living in the United States, the feeling of carrying the family alone, and the singer's lack of motivation to focus on his career. "I told him, you are not a YouTuber, you are a singer, an artist," he recalled, describing times when El Úniko wanted to pursue being an influencer instead of recording music.
La Titi also revealed that she was financially supporting the household while working as a go-go dancer, a job that created constant conflicts in the relationship. "When you come home and don’t feel the same understanding, you say: it's like being with a client," she pointed out.
The couple has two children with autism, Benjamín Nelly and Lincoln Asallam, and they currently have zero contact, communicating only through third parties after blocking each other.
The most talked-about moment came when Dayanoti directly asked her about Dany Ome. La Titi mentioned that the singer had liked her posts, including a photo of her on the beach in a bikini. "I never said he's into me. Maybe I'm not even his type of woman. He knows why he's doing it, because men know," she stated, hinting that there might be a reason behind his gesture towards her.
The podcast host asked her if she hadn’t "gone a bit overboard" by revealing that Dany Ome "was into her" just for a like. La Titi clarified that she keeps screenshots of all those likes as evidence and that it wasn't her who sought out that connection.
This interview comes amid a week of escalating public conflict. Last week, La Titi hosted a viral live stream where she accused the singer of not contributing to the household: "I have to go hustle to feed the kids, I can't support you anymore." El Úniko responded with the song “(NI + NI -),” featuring lines like "You were the snake that poisoned me" and "You want to get back together, and the answer is no."
La Titi replied with irony on Instagram: "Well, don't cry later." And on the same Wednesday, hours before the interview, she threw a dig in a live broadcast aimed at a Cuban singer who was liking her posts; users identified Dany Ome from the reference to weight loss procedures: "You are inedible, with so many bariatric surgeries you've had."
On social media, followers were divided between those who support La Titi for her bravery in speaking out publicly and those who believe that exposing the conflict harms her children. She herself anticipated that criticism in the interview: "Maybe this is a push for her to focus on her career. Because family is the most important thing."
Regarding her sentimental future, La Titi was straightforward: "No, I'm single, but if tomorrow I like someone and feel attraction to someone, I won't close the door on that either." And about the conditions for a possible reconciliation with El Úniko, she was just as clear: "I want at least a record of 50 songs."
