It took just 45 seconds of "Un Tin," the new song by Payaso x Ley featuring Rowell Urban for the snippet to go viral on social media, with dozens of users creating reels using that segment.
Released on April 20 under the Befocus Music label and produced by Ernesto Losa, the track has accumulated over 4.6 million views on YouTube and nearly 48,000 likes, establishing itself as one of the most talked-about releases from the Cuban scene this year.
The innovation that caused the stir is unprecedented within the genre: "Un Tin" opens with classical lyrical singing before bursting into pure ensemble, a somewhat wild fusion that caught everyone off guard.
The reactions were immediate. Aly Sánchez, Yoyi, and Preña Palma posted an explosive video on Instagram dancing to the song with their signature wildness and abandon, while fans' comments flooded digital platforms with phrases like "When I have to sing it live, we’ll see" and "I’d go to Cuba just to see him in concert."
The scope of the topic transcended even the usual audiences of the genre. A Cuban grandmother went viral dancing to the operatic part of “Un Tin,” further amplifying the phenomenon.
The YouTuber Buuoy, with an audience in Puerto Rico, reacted live to the topic on April 26 and was literally blown away by such a occurrence from the Cuban artists.
After finishing listening to the entire track, Buuoy acknowledged the result: "I can really imagine this song playing out there, getting people up to dance and have a good time. It definitely sounds great."
After the premiere, the reality is one in Cuba; wherever you go, whether on the street, in the gym, or simply on your phone, you only hear "Un Tin," and that is nothing other than a resounding success. Payaso x Ley and Rowell Urban hit a home run.
