Yomil Hidalgo has just introduced Rodmelis, his new girlfriend, with a phrase that left no doubts: "she has me in love." And as expected, the Cuban entertainment industry did not take a second to react.
But before this new chapter takes shape, it's worth revisiting the romances that marked the public life of the reggaeton artist.
Nayer
It was in July 2016 when the world learned that Yomil had a girlfriend, and not just any girlfriend: Nayer Regalado, a Cuban-American singer known internationally for her collaborations with Pitbull.
Fans followed them in every post, every concert, every gesture. But in April 2017, Nayer confirmed that it was she who ended the romance: "Things change, people change, and I did not see a future, which is why I made my decision."
What no one expected was the return. On May 20, 2018, during a concert at Amelia Park in Miami, Yomil surprised everyone by introducing Nayer to the audience with these words: "Today, this May 20 continues to be a part of my life... I want Miami to welcome my girlfriend Nayer." Together, they performed Adicción amidst kisses and caresses.
But the second chance was short-lived. In August of that same year, Nayer published a video from Dubai featuring the phrase “Single and not tied down”, with Karol G's "Mi Cama" playing in the background and the hashtags #Don'tLieToThePublic and #ILetYouGo. Chapter closed, twice.
Mily Alemán
Between the two phases with Nayer, another name that set social media on fire was Mily Alemán, a Cuban model and partner of Alexander Delgado from Gente de Zona. The relationship became public in December 2016, when Yomil confirmed the romance with a photo on Facebook and the caption: «#YOUANDIMEANIT».
The connection with Alexander's ex-partner sparked a huge controversy. Mily, for her part, described the romance as "a twist of fate, not rivalry or revenge." Yomil was quick to appear romantic: in March 2017, he publicly congratulated her on Instagram with a "Happy birthday my queen."
The relationship had its own ups and downs throughout 2017. In December of that year, a photo in the bar of comedian Robertico showed them embraced and holding hands, although neither officially confirmed a reconciliation. What became clear is that this phase left a mark on the collective memory of Cuban fans.
Daniela Reyes
The longest chapter arrived in 2020, when Daniela Reyes entered Yomil's life during one of his most difficult moments: shortly after the death of his partner El Dany. The artist himself confessed that Daniela came "at the worst time of his life to brighten his days."
For five years, the couple was one of the most beloved in the Cuban entertainment scene: music videos together, anniversaries celebrated on social media, trips, and a chemistry that won over their fans. However, distance—Daniela moved to Miami in December 2024 while the consulate denied Yomil's visa for the third time—and a controversial musical collaboration with Hallel Génesis accelerated their end.
On June 21, 2025, Yomil confirmed the breakup on Instagram with a message that moved many: "I can only thank you for these five years we spent together; they were the most beautiful I've experienced in a relationship so far."
Maggie Suárez
Amidst the drama with Daniela, Maggie Suárez, a Cuban model and influencer residing in Italy, reappeared. In 2024, Maggie claimed to have become pregnant by Yomil, and that he asked her to terminate the pregnancy without acknowledging their relationship. The artist remained silent.
In June 2025, when the Yomil-Daniela-Hallel triangle dominated all conversations, Maggie posted a quote from Karol G: "Karma paid them back for me, and no one can rescue you from that crap." Without mentioning names, but with a context that nobody overlooked.
Now, with Rodmelis in the spotlight and Daniela having emotionally bounced back in Miami, Yomil opens a new chapter. His followers, as always, are keenly attentive to every move.
