Velito El Bufón is once again at the center of controversy after appearing in a video posted on Instagram enjoying himself in Cuba with his new girlfriend, sparking a new wave of comments and criticism on social media.
The clip was shared by the Cuban entertainment account @reggaeton_cuba_viral with the text: "@velito_el_bufon doesn’t want to let go of the blonde, his new partner."
In the images, the singer appears relaxed and smiling alongside the young woman in various locations in Havana, displaying a camaraderie that did not go unnoticed by his fans.
Velito's new partner is Paula Martínez, a young blonde who works as a cabin crew member. They were seen together for the first time in Spain in March 2026, during the artist's European tour. Weeks later, the reggaeton artist made the relationship official on Instagram with romantic selfies and love songs in the background. The very next day, he even shared a video filled with kisses, caresses, flowers, and a heartfelt "I love you."
On May 13, during a concert in Havana, Velito publicly confirmed his relationship by introducing Paula to the cameras as "my wife," a declaration that had already provoked a strong reaction among his followers.
But beyond the new relationship, much of the commentary once again revolved around Thalía, the singer's ex-girlfriend and mother of his two children.
The story behind the breakup remains very much present for many users. Thalía publicly confirmed the separation on February 20, just 11 days after giving birth to Thiago, the couple's second child. As she explained at the time, she hadn't spoken earlier because she was "just postpartum."
The timeline did not go unnoticed on social media: just three days after the baby's birth, Velito left Cuba for Europe to fulfill tour commitments, and it was during that trip that the first images with Paula began to circulate.
In the midst of controversy, the singer responded at that moment with a phrase that also went viral: "The world may be against me." Weeks later, during a concert on March 31, he dedicated some words to Thalía from the stage: "Until the day I die, you will live like a queen."
Thalía has not remained silent either. On May 15, she published a video that many interpreted as a direct hint to the singer, accompanied by the phrase: "Pregnancy only lasts 9 months... just saying." Earlier, in April, she had already made another statement that sparked conversation: "I am a single woman, my children are not looking for a dad."
The comments on the new video once again reflected how divided the followers remain on the topic.
"What a lack of respect for Thalía," wrote one user. Others commented phrases like: "Know the process, not the one in the process" or simply: "Poor Thalía."
There were also those who predicted that history could repeat itself: "They're all like that, and then they end up crying" or "I don't want to see how his eye will look when Thalía pulls her little card from under her sleeve."
Other users, however, defended the artist's right to rebuild their romantic life, although many agreed that the speed with which the new relationship began remains the most controversial aspect for the public.
The truth is that every emotional move of Velito El Bufón continues to spark immediate conversation on Instagram and TikTok, where the relationships of Cuban cast members quickly turn into public debate.
