Al2 El Aldeano has publicly spoken out again in defense of Mariela Cartaya Oltuski, the mother of his child, with a new story on Instagram that adds previously unknown details about the woman's family background at the center of his controversy with El B.
In the post, Aldo responds to those who have attacked Mariela, revealing that she arrived in the United States called by her father, whom he describes as "an opponent since childhood," and that her grandfather was a communist. "Her grandfather was a communist and her father a free man; these things happen in Cuban families; they're normal," wrote the rapper.
Aldo also confirmed that his son was born on American soil and issued a direct warning to those who have used the child in the conflict: "God knows that all those who have created content with him can never speak to me again."
The tone of the post blends defense with closure: "It's incredible that in order to hurt me, they would hurt my son. We all come from the same place. God bless you."
This new story unfolds days after the controversy between Aldo and his former Los Aldeanos bandmate escalated publicly. El B broke 12 years of silence on May 18 with an Instagram video where he accused Aldo of systematically attacking his family and threatened to reveal information about Mariela, whom he described as the woman Aldo "had hidden."
The next day, May 19, Aldo responded by posting photos with Mariela and denying having hidden her: "I have never hidden anyone; this has been on my profile for a long time. I'm not afraid of anything, only God." He also clarified that the romantic relationship has already ended: "She is not my partner, but she is the mother of my kid."
In that same series of posts, Aldo shared a photo at an airport and wrote that Mariela went with him to welcome El B and his wife when they arrived in the country, and that "she sent toys to your son while they were in the visa process, which she bought with her teacher's salary."
Mariela Cartaya Oltuski is identified as a cousin of Raúl Guillermo Rodríguez Castro, known as "El Cangrejo," grandson of Raúl Castro and son of General Luis Alberto Rodríguez López-Calleja, who led the military-business conglomerate GAESA until his death in July 2022.
El B, for his part, denied knowing about those family connections in 2014: "Nobody knew. In 2014, nobody knew who the Castro family was or who the connections were." He also questioned the authenticity of the airport photo and challenged Aldo to a public confrontation: "Let's face the audience of Los Aldeanos, all those people who believed in us. You with your evidence and I with mine."
In the context of this dispute, Sandro Castro intervened, threatening to reveal secrets about the Village, although his subsequent publication did not provide any new information.
Aldo's new story adds a detail that had not been mentioned before: the ideological fracture within Mariela's own family, with a communist grandfather and an oppositionist father, serves as an argument to deflect criticisms regarding her ties to the Cuban nomenclature.
