Laura, wife of Cuban reggaeton artist Osmani García and owner of the bakery Divine Delicacies Custom Cakes in Miami, was in charge of creating the cake for the third birthday of Marco Antonio Muñiz Ferreira, the son of Marc Anthony and Paraguayan model Nadia Ferreira, affectionately known as “Marquito.”
The bakery shared images of the cake on Instagram this Saturday, the day the little one turned three years old. Laura directly thanked the couple with a message: “It’s always an honor and a pleasure to create your birthday cakes and be part of such a special celebration year after year. Thank you to @nadiaferreira and @marcanthony for trusting me.”
The cake was an elaborate creation of approximately six tiers with a Disney's The Lion King theme, hand-decorated with scenes from the movie: African silhouettes at sunset, Simba and Mufasa, waterfalls, and figures of characters like Rafiki, Timon, Pumba, Zazu, and Nala.
The name "MARCO" appeared in red letters, and the number "3" was in orange, while the party featured complete decorations from the movie: orange and gold balloons, murals painted with African landscapes, and three-dimensional figures of the characters.
This is the third consecutive time that Divine Delicacies has created Marquito's birthday cake. The bakery was also responsible for the cake for the child's first birthday in July 2024, and the second one in June 2025, when the theme was Minions and Jurassic Park.
In the images from the celebration, Nadia Ferreira appears visibly pregnant. The couple announced their second pregnancy on January 28, 2026, coinciding with their third wedding anniversary, and on March 27 they revealed they are expecting a girl, who will be Marc Anthony's eighth child.
The video of the cake posted on Instagram was accompanied by the song "Hakuna Matata" from the movie and accumulated more than 39,000 views in just a few hours.
Laura Candeau, born in Havana in 1985 and residing in the United States since 1996, runs the bakery alongside her mother, Iliana Lombardero. Divine Delicacies has created cakes for celebrities such as Thalía, Maluma, Lele Pons, Guaynaa, Natti Natasha, and Raphy Pina, establishing itself as one of the most recognized luxury bakeries in the Latin entertainment scene in Miami.
