The Gender Observatory of Alas Tensas (OGAT) issued an alert regarding the disappearance of a woman in the Diez de Octubre municipality in Havana last Friday.

Claudia Diago García has been reported missing since June 12, when she was last seen at Santos Suárez Park, according to the report from OGAT, which was made public this Monday by the Alerta Yeniset for cases of women’s disappearances.

The notice specified that Claudia does not suffer from any illness, but it did not reveal any further details about the case.

OGAT indicated that it continues to gather information about the event. Individuals can contact through the phone number 55144015 or via email at observatorio@alastensas.com.

This Monday, the observatory also activated a Mayde Alert for the disappearance of a teenager identified as Natacha, who had been reported missing since the morning of Friday, June 12, in Limonar, in the province of Matanzas.

Her father, Dianosqui Leiva, posted an announcement on social media the same day: "Missing, she has been gone since this morning. If anyone sees her, please call this number 53535344." Hours later, in comments on the Facebook post, users confirmed that the girl had already been found.

Recently, several disappearances have been reported in the country. The 17-year-old María Fernanda Fuentes had been missing for 19 days as of June 9 in Matanzas, and a young man nicknamed "Pingui" disappeared in Guanabo, Habana del Este, with 19 days without any news until June 11.

OGAT documented 40 disappearances of women, girls, and boys in Cuba during 2025.

In Cuba, there is no official rapid alert system comparable to the Amber Alert in the United States, so the search for missing persons relies almost exclusively on family members, activists, and social media in the absence of state protocols.

The Mayde Alert is named after Maydeleisis Rosales Rodríguez, a 16-year-old teenager who went missing on May 30, 2021 in the area of Campanario and Malecón, in Central Havana, whose whereabouts remain unknown more than five years later.

The Yeniset Alert, a search mechanism created by the platform Yo Sí Te Creo in Cuba and OGAT, was activated following the disappearance of the young Yeniset Rojas Pérez, 33 years old, in Ranchuelo, Villa Clara, on March 19, 2022. Almost a year later, authorities confirmed her murder.
