The Cuban cast continues to make history. “Dichavate”, the track by Ya Ice Dilan, Rey Tony, and Helabusador, reached number 4 on Spain's Top 50 on Spotify, sharing rankings with names like Quevedo, Elvis Crespo, and Jay Wheeler.
It is not a fleeting flash. The song has been on the Spotify Spain charts for 126 days, reaching a historic peak at number three, and has accumulated over 32.7 million streams in that market, with nearly 330,000 daily plays.

That same weekend, Ya Ice Dilan himself celebrated another parallel achievement on his Instagram stories: "Dichavate" also ranks at number 4 on the Top 50 in Panama on Spotify, according to a screenshot from July 5. The artist shared the screen featuring the sticker "DICHAVATE / Top #4 IN PANAMA," an image that encapsulates the regional reach that the song has achieved in just a few months.
Released on December 24, 2025, under the JipMusic Global label and produced by DJ Honda, the song took only a few weeks to become a viral phenomenon. On YouTube, the official video has surpassed 70 million views, and on TikTok, it dominated trends since January 2026. Figures such as Maluma —whose videos featuring the song accumulated 4.2 million views—, Bad Gyal, Vinicius Jr., and the K-pop group NTX joined the wave voluntarily.
Spain has become one of the most receptive markets for the genre. "Dichavate" has already been certified Gold Disc by AGEDI/Promusicae, an unprecedented milestone for the Cuban cast, a subgenre that emerged in the popular neighborhoods of Havana between 2007 and 2010, which for years was considered marginal music even within the island.
The evolution of the genre in recent months has been swift. Ice Dilan has already completed a 40-date European tour in 2026, with performances in Spain in March, and became the center of a viral moment at the airport in Rome in April with the song "Tienes Remix." He is now preparing for a tour across the United States with three stadiums confirmed. Meanwhile, Maluma has already paid tribute to the genre and Vinicius Jr. joined the Cuban genre craze on his own social media.
Billboard has already analyzed the viral phenomenon of Dichavate and also included Bebeshito and Wampi among the "26 artists to watch in 2026," indicating that the Cuban roster has transitioned from being a curiosity to becoming a real force within the global music industry.
