An interview with Shakira on the Spanish program La Revuelta became one of the most amusing television moments of the year on Wednesday, when her personal assistant crawled across the set on all fours in an attempt to go unnoticed by the cameras... and the outcome was quite the opposite.

The Colombian singer connected via video conference from Baltimore with the host David Broncano to discuss "Dai, Dai," the official anthem of the 2026 World Cup, and her 12-concert residency in Madrid. However, an incoming call during the broadcast sparked the most amusing chaos of the night.

Broncano, true to his style, encouraged Shakira to answer and make a "three-way call." The artist hung up without revealing who she was, but at that moment the camera captured something unexpected: a figure dressed in a striking pink hoodie crossing the background of the shot, completely hunched over.

"How? What's happening?" they exclaimed from the studio upon seeing the mysterious figure crawling in the opposite direction in an attempt to disappear. The entire studio erupted in laughter.

Shakira took a few seconds to understand why everyone was laughing, but when she realized, she couldn't hold back her laughter. "It's my assistant! I was trying to end the call," she explained amid giggles.

The unwitting protagonist of the moment was Diana, a member of her team, who had calculated that if she crouched low enough, no one would see her. The calculation, as was demonstrated in front of thousands of spectators, failed spectacularly.

Broncano asked Diana to stand up and greet the camera. She appeared visibly embarrassed and could only manage to say, "A pleasure." Shakira immediately hugged her to comfort her: "She looks like my little sister," she said tenderly.

The host summarized the episode with a phrase that said it all: "It was really great." And Shakira, with her usual sense of humor, made a promise to her assistant: "You're going to become famous in Spain."

The clip went viral immediately on social media, where thousands of users praised the spontaneity and naturalness with which both handled the blooper.

Beyond the comedic moment, the interview also served for Shakira to talk about her impressive artistic present. "Dai, Dai," her collaboration with Burna Boy as the official anthem of the 2026 World Cup, surpasses 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify and reached number one globally on June 30.

The artist also shared details about her historical residency in Madrid, where she will offer 12 concerts between September 18 and October 11 at the Shakira Stadium, a temporary venue with a capacity of over 50,000 people each night. “I’m going to pull out all the stops; I’ll do everything possible to make it amazing and attract fans from all over Europe,” she stated.

Diana, for her part, has already secured her fame in Spain. Although it probably wasn't how she had planned it.
