A young woman captured on video the moment she encountered William Levy shopping at a supermarket in Miami like anyone else, and the clip went viral on TikTok with nearly three million views in just two days.

User @elixandramaitte posted a 16-second video on Wednesday with the text "pov: you run into William Levy at the supermarket." In the description, the young woman admitted that "I felt shy to bother him," but that the Cuban actor "was very nice" and didn’t hesitate to greet her with a smile.

In the images, Levy is seen in the checkout area of the establishment wearing a turquoise baseball cap, a white t-shirt, and a gold chain. The fan asked him for what she described as a picture, although she actually recorded a video, and the actor agreed without hesitation.

At the close of this edition, the clip had accumulated 2.9 million views, 428,800 likes, 17,900 shares, and more than 2,400 comments on TikTok, figures that reflect the immense following the actor has among the Spanish-speaking audience.

It's not the first time that a spontaneous meeting between Levy and a fan in Miami has gone viral. In February, another young woman caught him while he was driving at night through the city, and the video exploded on social media accompanied by the iconic audio "Who is that man?" from the telenovela Pasión de Gavilanes. The creator of that clip described it as "the best thing that happened to me in Miami."

Both moments solidify Levy's image as an accessible celebrity who lives a everyday life in South Florida, welcoming those who recognize him on the street.

The actor, born in Havana on August 29, 1980, moved to Miami during his teenage years and built an international career from there with telenovelas such as Cuidado con el ángel, Sortilegio, and La Tempestad.

The year 2026 has been a media-intensive one for Levy. In March, he confirmed his romance with Jenifer Camacho, a 22-year-old Cuban nurse, through a photo of a kiss taken in Granada. Weeks later, in May he managed to sell his mansion in Southwest Ranches, Florida, avoiding a court auction due to a debt exceeding $2.1 million.

The comments from his followers on social media agree in describing the actor as kind and approachable in face-to-face encounters, a reputation that this new video only serves to reinforce.
