Alex Otaola spoke out after it was revealed that the comedian Alexis Valdés physically assaulted actress Zajaris Fernández on Sunday at a bar in Miami during the broadcast of the final of the 2026 World Cup.

In his reaction posted on Instagram, Otaola described what happened candidly: "Alexis Valdés publicly assaults Zajaris, accusing her of being my ally. He hits her phone and physically assaults her several times."

Furthermore, he stated that "the reason for the incident, according to sources, was that Claudia and Alexis demanded that Zajaris leave the bar where they did not want him to be."

Otaola showed his followers the viral video featuring a clip of the fight, where Alexis accuses Zajaris of being a "bad person" and "an ally of Otaola."

In this regard, the influencer noted: "Alexis is not aware of my distancing from Zajaris and also doesn't know how to behave in public."

Otaola highlighted that part of Valdés' attack was based on a false premise: the actress and the influencer have not communicated for two years, something that Zajaris herself confirmed in a live Instagram broadcast.

«I haven't spoken to Otaola in two years. It has been two years since I've said anything to Otaola. And still, I haven't stopped supporting him in his ideals, especially those that are related to me, because that doesn't change anything,» the actress stated.

According to Zajaris's account, it was the comedian's partner, Claudia Valdés, who approached her first to ask her to leave the venue. When she refused—arguing that it was a public place—Claudia replied, "Do you speak Spanish?"

Then it was Alexis who returned to her table repeatedly to confront her, calling her a "little drug addict" and accusing her of speaking ill of his daughters.

"He said to me: 'You sided with Otaola and all that crap.' Guys, he hung up on me. I pick up the phone and think to myself: Is this real? He hung up on me again, and that's when it broke," Zajaris recounted, describing how Valdés shattered the screen and the back camera of the device.

Others present had to intervene to separate those involved. The police arrived at the scene, took a report, and ordered Alexis and Claudia Valdés to leave the establishment.

There were no arrests because Zajaris requested it herself, even though her lawyer advised her to have the comedian taken into custody. The actress claims that the only conflict that might exist between her and Valdés is an old debt that she has never pursued.

However, the feud between Alexis Valdés and Otaola dates back to 2022, when the influencer accused the comedian of paying pitiful wages to artists in his projects.

In November 2025, Valdés referred to Otaola as a "psychopath without empathy or soul" and "one of the worst beings that Cuba has produced."

Zajaris concluded her account with a statement of determination: "I will not feel afraid nor will I feel inhibited about going absolutely anywhere. Because having my ideals does not make me a better or worse person."
