Bebeshito woke up on vacation to news he had been waiting years for: his name was listed among the nominees for the Premios Juventud 2026. The Cuban singer quickly shared his reaction with his followers through a video on his Instagram profile, where he appeared visibly excited with a clear message: we have to win.
"Another day where life shows you that dreams do come true. I was on vacation, but I wake up in the morning to see that I'm nominated for the Premios Juventud. Something I have been striving for many years," said the artist, whose real name is Oniel Ernesto Columbié Campos.
The nomination, announced on Tuesday, places him in the category «The New Male Generation», alongside nine other artists: Clarent, Damn Goldo, DFZM, DIA, Juan Duque, Kris R., Maisak, Santos Bravos, and Sebas Barcenas.
For Bebeshito, however, being nominated is not enough. In the video, he made it clear what his goal is: "This award has to go to Cuba, it has to go to Reparto, it has to go to Bebeshito, because you are the ones who put me here."
The artist encouraged his followers to vote for him in large numbers. With his characteristic honesty, he stated that he has no qualms about asking anyone for a favor: "I am an artist with no ego, so I don't feel embarrassed to go to a mall and ask anyone to turn on their phone to vote for me, because I don't live the artist life."
The message resonated with his fans. The reel garnered over 25,000 likes and more than 1,100 comments in less than 24 hours.
The nomination comes at a time of unstoppable success for the Cuban reggaeton artist. In August 2025, he became the first reggaeton artist to fill the Kaseya Center in Miami, with nearly 20,000 people. Months later, Billboard included him among the 26 Latin artists to watch in 2026, and in March of this year he celebrated accumulating 24 gold and platinum records with certifications from the RIAA.
The Premios Juventud 2026 gala will take place on September 3 at the Starlite Amphitheater in Marbella, Spain —the first time in the 23-year history of the awards that the ceremony leaves the Americas— and will be broadcast on Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión, and ViX.
"I can't leave this task half-done; I can't just be nominated, I have to win it. I have it in my head, and I know I can," concluded Bebeshito, with the same energy that has brought him this far.
Congratulations, little baby!
