The world of Latin entertainment has a new chapter worthy of a telenovela: Isander Pérez, the Puerto Rican influencer known for having dated Isabella Ladera, confessed that before Jenifer Camacho became William Levy's official girlfriend, he already knew her quite well, and not merely as a friend.
Isander made the revelation a few weeks ago on the podcast Flan de Coco, hosted by Frederick Castillo. There, he described the young Cuban woman with an enthusiasm that left no room for doubt: "I met this Cuban in Orlando, smitten, I fell for her. Beautiful, gorgeous, man, beautiful. She lived in Orlando, and I was going down there almost every weekend."
The turning point in the story came when Isander decided to participate in the reality show El Rancho del Destino, filmed between January 4 and February 7 of this year. She laid her cards on the table: either the reality show or the relationship. He chose the reality show. "But mom, just one opportunity," he replied, as she recounted in the podcast.
Upon leaving the program and picking up his phone, the surprise was immense. While browsing TikTok, Isander stumbled upon images of his ex with none other than the heartthrob from Café con aroma de mujer. "Look at this, she looks like... with William Levy? No, it can't be," he recalled thinking before confirming what his eyes did not want to believe.
When the podcast host asked if Levy had "taken" his girlfriend, Isander responded with a phrase that became the most repeated comment of the week: "He didn't take her; I left her for him."
And just in case there was any doubt that the influencer approached the matter with Zen philosophy, he added: “It doesn't hurt me because I realized you faltered in that area. I am one of those people who lets go easily. You left, you left.”
Although Isander never mentioned the name of the young woman, followers on social media wasted no time filling the comments with the name of Jenifer Camacho, the intensive care nurse with Cuban roots who resides in Orlando and was made official by William Levy on March 23 when he posted a photo kissing her. The young woman, a graduate of the University of Central Florida, is approximately 23 years younger than the actor, who was born in Cojímar, Cuba, in 1980.
Isander's confession comes at a particularly spicy moment: rumors are circulating that the relationship between Levy and Camacho has come to an end. The site Las Top News reported a possible breakup, although neither party has officially confirmed anything.
For now, Isander Pérez wins the award for the calmest ex of the year. And William Levy, as always, takes all the headlines.
