The Slovak model Bronislava Gregušová confirmed that her divorce process with Cuban actor Mario Cimarro is progressing, and revealed that a court has authorized her relocation with little Briana to Slovakia, where they will both begin a new chapter.
It was Gregušová herself who broke the silence through a story on her Instagram account @bronigregus, where she wrote: "Dear friends, as many of you have been asking how we are, I wanted to give you an official statement. The divorce process is still ongoing, and Bri and I, thanks to the court's decision, are finally in Slovakia. We are both extremely happy here and ready for a new beginning!"
The message arrived accompanied by the Slovak flag and a heart, and it abruptly dispelled the rumors that had been circulating on social media for over a year.
Signs of a possible separation had been building up since 2025: the couple stopped posting photos together and, at some point, both stopped following each other on Instagram, details that did not go unnoticed by their followers.
Cimarro himself had dropped hints, although he did not say it outright. In January of this year, he released an emotional video alongside Briana set to the tune of "Where You Are," in which he spoke about the absence of a father figure in the lives of children.
Cimarro and Gregušová are said to have secretly married in Las Vegas in 2022, the same year Briana was born. The couple publicly introduced the girl in May 2023, describing her as "the light of our lives."
The divorce process was handled in the United States, where Gregušová resided with Briana while awaiting the judicial decision. Slovak media reported that the model accused domestic violence during their relationship, accusations that Cimarro also publicly denied, stating that the matter was in the hands of the judiciary and that he only wanted the best for his daughter.
The star of Pasión de gavilanes is going through a particularly intense time in his personal life: in December 2025, he lost his mother, María Paz, whom he described as “the exemplary mother who taught me with much patience and dedication to read and write.” In July of this year, he also said goodbye to his cat Caramelo, who was 14 years old, in an emotional message on social media.
