The Venezuelan influencer Isabella Ladera surprised her followers with a video on her TikTok account where she shows, without filters, what her body looks like three weeks after giving birth to her son Koa, with a message of self-love directed at all the moms who compare themselves to idealized images on social media.

The clip, just over three minutes long, garnered thousands of views and likes within a few hours, becoming one of their most viral pieces of content in recent months.

Isabella opened the video with a very clear statement of intent: she wanted to showcase "another reality" that, according to her, hardly appears on digital platforms. "I'm not saying that there aren't women who look perfect right after giving birth because I've seen cases, but there's also the other side that doesn't get enough visibility," she explained in front of the camera.

Without further ado, the content creator showed her abdomen, the sagging skin, and her postpartum underwear, which she humorously described: "My zero sexy panties look like a diaper."

Far from complaint or insecurity, the tone of the video was one of celebration and acceptance. "It's not that I'm going to give up, I don't hate myself, I don't feel bad, I'm simply embracing the process, I'm allowing it to go through me and I'm taking it one day at a time," Isabella said.

It also issued a powerful reminder for those who demand too much of themselves in the postpartum period: "We literally just brought life into the world; we just created a human body from such a tiny being, and that is so much more commendable than the body you're currently trying to maintain."

For the mothers who are breastfeeding, the message was even more direct: "You are already at a hundred, you were home, you are home, and you are providing nourishment, so honor yourself, sister, honor yourself, love yourself, and stop being so hard on yourself."

Koa was born on July 11 in Miami, the result of her relationship with the Peruvian influencer Hugo García, in a home birth, in water, and without anesthesia after 26 hours of labor. He is Isabella's second child—her eldest daughter, Mía Antonella, was born in 2020—and the first she has with García.

This video is not the first in which Isabella openly shares her recovery: just two weeks after giving birth, she had already posted a selfie in front of the mirror with the message "This is me, sisters," and days before the birth, she revealed that she gained almost 20 kilos during her pregnancy.

Isabella, who has over 12 million followers on Instagram and TikTok, also mentioned that when she resumes exercising — she plans to wait between six to seven weeks — she will continue to document the process with the same honesty.

The description that accompanied the video captures the spirit of the entire message well: "I embrace you, I know it's hard not to sleep, but bringing life is being reborn; see it as a second chance to do things right, or even better."
