The Cuban influencer Samantha Espineira has become a mother for the first time: her daughter Alana was born in Miami, and she shared the news herself with an emotional black-and-white post that melted the hearts of more than a million followers.
In the post, Samantha is lying on the hospital bed holding the newborn wrapped in a blanket with a little hat and her face covered by an emoji. Next to her, her partner Norlen Serra kisses her tenderly.
“Welcome to the world, Alana. Today, not only were you born… today also marked the birth of a new version of me,” Samantha wrote in the caption. “You came to show me a love I didn’t know could exist, but also to reveal a strength I never imagined I had within me.”
The content creator also shared some heartfelt words for Norlen through her Instagram stories, where she acknowledged the essential role he played during the childbirth.
"Thank you for holding me up when I felt like I couldn't go on anymore, for giving me strength with your words, for taking my hand and making me feel that I wasn't alone for even a second," she wrote. "Today, I love you in a different way, even more deeply."
The pregnancy of Alana was undoubtedly the most followed chapter of Samantha's public life in 2026. She announced it on March 8 with a personalized newspaper cover and the message "Baby Serra is on the way!", and just two weeks later she celebrated a gender reveal in Miami that confirmed they were expecting a girl.
In June, she showcased the already decorated room for Alana, and by the end of July, the countdown began with her patience wearing thin. Last Wednesday, she was still jokingly saying that the baby hadn't arrived; four days later, Alana made her entrance into the world.
Norlen Serra, for his part, had already become the center of a viral moment weeks earlier when his generous gesture with a bicycle delivery person —a tip of 100 dollars— touched the couple's followers.
Samantha Espineira began her career as a content creator in Cuba in 2019, studying Sociology at the University of Havana before relocating to Miami in 2022. In March 2025, she surpassed one million followers on Instagram, establishing herself as one of the most beloved Cuban influencers on the platform.
"I love you, and if I could relive every second of this journey, I would choose you again to walk it with me. Now we are us, with our princess in our arms, marveling at the most beautiful miracle we have created together," concluded Samantha in her message to Norlen, summarizing in a few words what thousands of their followers are already celebrating: a new family has just been born.
