The night of Wednesday, September 3rd was historic for Latin music: the Premios Juventud celebrated its 23rd edition at the Starlite Auditorium in Marbella, Spain, becoming the first gala in its history to leave the American continent and take place in Europe.
Under the motto "Connect to the Vibe," more than 50 artists from both sides of the Atlantic gathered at this amphitheater nestled in an old quarry on the Costa del Sol, where music and fashion shared the spotlight equally.
The big winners of the night were Shakira, Bad Bunny, Aitana, and Karol G, but before the trophies were handed out, the red carpet had already generated plenty of buzz: sequins, sheerness, feathers, mermaid silhouettes, and monochromatic ensembles paraded in front of the cameras in what was a true showcase of autumn trends.
These were some of the most talked-about styles:
Kenia Os
Greeicy
Camila Guiribitey and Mamilover
Clarissa Molina
Malu Trevejo
Nadia Ferreira and Marc Anthony
Antonio Banderas
Lena Burke
Yandel
Camilo and Evaluna Montaner
The next edition of the Premios Juventud will have to work hard to surpass the high bar set by this historic night in Marbella.
