Sandro Castro reacted with a mocking tone to the recent public appearance of Raúl Castro and assured that the former Cuban ruler, 95 years old, walks a kilometer daily and is in good shape, following several days of intense rumors about his health and even his alleged death.

"Sir, I have to share very important news today that you should remember. All of you are fish and have fallen into the trap," said Fidel Castro's grandson in an Instagram story shared this Saturday.

Sandro then celebrated Raúl's appearance and offered his own assessment of his physical condition.

“Did you see how my general came out? I told you, he walks a kilometer every day, the general is in great shape,” he stated.

The young man also added: "And happiness to papi cangri for Personal Security Day," referring to Raúl Guillermo Rodríguez Castro, known as "El Cangrejo", grandson of Raúl Castro and a figure closely linked to his security.

Sandro's reaction came after Raúl Castro made a public appearance this Saturday alongside Miguel Díaz-Canel during the event for the 65th anniversary of the Personal Security Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior.

Castro's presence was particularly significant because it came after several days of rumors about a possible hospitalization, a serious deterioration in his health, and even his death.

The Cuban government had not previously provided official information to clarify those reports.

During the ceremony, Raúl remained seated in the front row and received an acknowledgment from Brigadier General Emir Mesa Corona, head of the Personal Security Directorate, for being a co-founder of that organization along with Fidel Castro.

Also present was "El Cangrejo," who appeared visibly emotional during a décima dedicated to his grandfather that specifically referenced the recent rumors about the general's health.
