Rosalía and Loli Bahia are no longer hiding. The Spanish singer and the French model shared their first public kiss, and they did it in style: in the stands of the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, during the women's semifinals of the US Open, with the photographers' cameras focused right on them.
The couple enjoyed the match between Coco Gauff and Elena Rybakina alongside Alexa Demie, actress from Euphoria and one of Rosalía's closest friends since they met during the filming of the third season of the series. The three danced, greeted the audience during the breaks, and at one point, Rosalía and Loli shared that kiss that many had been anticipating for months.
The moment is significant because the couple has been gradually building their story over time and without any major announcements.
It all started with hand-in-hand strolls through different cities, but it was during the Lux Tour that Rosalía stopped hiding completely. At Madison Square Garden, in front of 20,000 people, she dedicated La Yugular to her girlfriend with a message that left no room for doubt: "Special tonight for you, Loli." The stadium erupted. Shortly after, she appeared in public wearing a t-shirt that read "I Love My Girlfriend," just in case anyone had any doubts.
In April, while accepting the Woman of the Year award at the Latin Women in Music gala by Billboard, Rosalía mentioned her in her speech with a phrase that stuck: "I want to thank my mother Pilar for giving me life. To Pili for living it with me. To Loli for existing."
Loli Bahia, born in Lyon in 2002 with Spanish and Algerian roots, is one of the most sought-after models at the moment: she has walked the runway for Chanel, Prada, Valentino, Loewe, and Givenchy, among other brands, and has been an ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent Beauty since 2023.
