North Miami Beach will celebrate its 100th anniversary this Saturday, October 3, with a large free festival that will feature live music, cultural activities, games, prizes, food, and entertainment for the whole family.

The Centennial Festival organized by the city of North Miami Beach will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the North Miami Beach City Hall, located at 17011 NE 19th Avenue.

The entry will be free and open to the public, making the celebration an option for those looking for a family plan in Miami-Dade during the first weekend of October.

Live music, games, and activities for all ages

The program announced by the city includes music from DJ Nasty from 99 JAMZ, as well as live musical performances and cultural presentations.

There will also be games and prizes, activities for different age groups, and an interactive space for taking photographs.

The lineup will be complemented by vendors and food trucks, so attendees will be able to find food options throughout the five hours of the event.

The officially announced free access pertains to the access to the festival. The event page does not indicate that the food and products offered by the vendors are free.

When and where will the festival be in North Miami Beach?

The festival will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., at the North Miami Beach City Hall.

The address is 17011 NE 19th Avenue, North Miami Beach, Florida 33162.

The city has not indicated in the official announcement that it is necessary to purchase a ticket to attend, and it presents the event as free and open to the public.

North Miami Beach celebrates a century

The celebration has a special meaning this weekend. North Miami Beach was officially incorporated on October 4, 1926, so the festival will take place just on the eve of the city's 100th anniversary.

In 2026, North Miami Beach has organized various community activities to commemorate the centennial, including neighborhood parties and cultural events in different areas of the city.

The festival this Saturday will bring together much of that spirit with a day designed to celebrate the history and diversity of the community, but also to provide several hours of free entertainment for residents and visitors.
