Melanie Vidal, the Spanish content creator known on TikTok as @meloviajo ("Blancona y mulatón"), decided to share her Cuban dance moves this Sunday, and her followers' reactions came in swiftly.
In the clip, which is less than a minute long, the Barcelona native dances to "Dame un AAA (Tita)," the track by Bebeshito and Ya Ice Dilan, which has garnered nearly 750,000 views on YouTube since its release in March 2026.
Melanie herself acknowledged in the video description that embarrassment nearly got the better of her: "In the end, you can tell that I'm a little embarrassed...". Nevertheless, she took the plunge and also posed a question to her community: "Where are those repairing Catalans?".
In the video, the Spanish woman made her position clear with a direct phrase: "Yes, we Catalans also enjoy sharing."
The response in the comments was immediate and predominantly enthusiastic. "Approved, sister," wrote one user. Others welcomed her with "Officially a badass, no fear babe," "A new member of the crew," and the succinct yet expressive "Shakkkkkke."
El reparto is a subgenre of Cuban urban music that emerged between 2007 and 2015 in the popular neighborhoods of Havana. It is a local evolution of reggaeton blended with timba, rumba, and guaguancó. It began at neighborhood parties and later spread through mobile internet and social media, eventually gaining international recognition.
Melanie has been documenting her love story with Yainer for months, whom she met in Viñales during a salsa class in 2023. The couple has been the center of several viral moments this year: their reunion at Havana airport in April garnered over 110,600 views in less than 24 hours.
In June, Yainer proposed to Melanie, a moment she shared on her social media that also generated reactions among her followers. In August, the Spanish woman explained that she canceled the wedding in Cuba to opt for a proxy marriage and reunite with him in Spain.
The relationship has sparked divided opinions on social media, with criticisms that she publicly responded to in May. Melanie has over 150,000 followers on TikTok and 120,000 on Instagram.
The new video has already garnered over 5100 views and 307 "likes," confirming the increasing interest of the Spanish audience in the Cuban cast.
