Milenita and El Puti buy their first house in the United States: "This is the beginning of a beautiful adventure."

The Cuban influencer Milena Sánchez Rodríguez, known as Milenita on social media, announced this Monday the purchase of her first house in the United States with her partner, known on social media as El Puti, in an Instagram post filled with excitement and gratitude.

"My people, I am now the owner of my first house in the United States! I feel very happy and excited to share this news with you. I'm going to live with Puti in our own home and start our family. This is the beginning of a beautiful adventure, stay with me every step of the way," wrote the content creator alongside several photos from the closing of the purchase.

The images show the couple holding the keys to the property, surrounded by typical gifts for the occasion: a basket with the message "Home Sweet Home," a cake decorated from the brand Nothing Bundt Cakes, a bottle of Borrasca Brut cava, and a card that reads "New Home, new adventure, New Memories."

In her message, Milenita expressed gratitude to those who made the achievement possible: "Thanks to Puti for always making me happy, to my realtor who helped us tremendously and stayed with us until we got the house we wanted, to my mom who always prays to God for me, and to all those who, in one way or another, supported us in achieving this great dream."

The couple arrived in Miami in 2025, starting, in their own words, "from scratch," after leaving their families behind in Cuba.

Since then, Milenita —a graduate in Medicine from the island and currently a nursing student in the United States— has shared with her followers every stage of this new life, building a narrative of resilience that deeply resonates with the Cuban diaspora.

In August, the influencer showcased her humble wooden house in the countryside of Matanzas where she grew up, built by her grandfather and where the family cooked with charcoal, in a video that generated a wave of praise for its simplicity.

Acquiring a home of one's own represents the latest chapter —and perhaps the most symbolic— of the contrast between the past on the island and the present in the United States after much effort and personal growth.
