Dainier was working as a janitor at the Ulala bar when he was shot fatally during the early morning hours.

When the young Cuban stepped out and approached the group, the armed man shot him. The individuals involved fled the scene, and Dainier died from the injury.
The murder was reported in May, when authorities launched an investigation and analyzed security camera footage to identify potential suspects.
Days later, the Police issued search notices for several men connected to the case.
Another of the wanted men, Baraka Haraohn Bayneuzzi Garnett, remained unlocated when the delivery was reported.
Days later, Guyana Times reported that the Police reissued search notices for Daby and Joseph to question them regarding the murder. The information does not clarify what happened after both voluntarily presented themselves to the authorities or why they were again included among the wanted.
