A Cuban resident in Miami returned to Cuba without notifying his family and had two emotional reunions: one with his daughter, whom he surprised in her school, and another with his mother, who could not contain her emotion upon seeing him unexpectedly on the street.

The man, identified on TikTok as @pedrito.dj, shared the images in a video that has excited numerous users of the platform.

"People, I never do this, but for the first time I'm coming to see my girl, my father, without them knowing. This is a surprise," she expressed at the beginning of the recording, as she prepared to reunite with her loved ones.

The first surprise took place at his daughter's school. The Cuban entered the classroom without the little girl suspecting that her father was back on the island. Upon seeing him, they both embraced in an emotional hug that was captured on video.

Then it was his mother's turn, whom he surprised while she was walking down the street. The woman raised her hands to her head and began to shout with joy upon recognizing her son, before embracing him excitedly.

But beyond the images, it was the words of the Cuban that reflected what it meant for him to be reunited with his loved ones.

“There is no cruise in Miami that can top this. Once again in my little homeland but this time without notice. My family is my life and my driving force in this country”, he wrote alongside the post.

The video joins other stories of Cuban emigrants who have returned to the island unexpectedly to reunite with their families after spending some time apart.

In February, the Cuban Frank Castillo Agüero had an emotional reunion with his daughter at a school in Cuba and confessed how challenging it was to be away from the people he loved.

More recently, in September, a Cuban mother also surprised her daughter at school, creating another heartfelt family moment.
