The father of the Cuban rapper El Rojo, whose real name is David Acosta, starred in an emotional video in which he made a very special request to the Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz: to listen to his son's music and help him fulfill one of his dreams.

“Mr. Alejandro Sanz, I would like you to listen to this message from a father who wishes for you to fulfill this dream for my son, who has always been a great admirer of yours,” the man expressed in a video shared on Instagram.

The post was accompanied by a message from El Rojo himself, who asked his followers for help in getting his words to the renowned Spanish artist: "Help us make this dream come true by tagging him in the comments."

In the recording, the rapper's father also takes the opportunity to perform a snippet of one of his son's songs, revealing the pride and admiration he feels for him.

"Everyone listening to this reel, I would like you to tag Alejandro. It would be really nice, and I would appreciate it," the man added, insisting on his wish for the performer of "Corazón partío" to recognize his son's talent.

The video has received thousands of reactions and comments from followers who have joined the petition, tagging Alejandro Sanz in the hope that he will hear the message.

El Rojo is a Cuban rapper and singer-songwriter based in the United States, known for songs like "Me duele Cuba" and "I220A," the latter inspired by his migration experience. In October 2025, he received political asylum in an immigration court in Miami.

Among his musical works is also "Libre," a collaboration with Néstor Meness and Venezuelan influencer Marko, dedicated to the freedom of Cuba and Venezuela.

Alejandro Sanz, for his part, has shown closeness to several Cuban artists. In May, he invited the troubadour Kamankola to his concert in Miami, and last month he welcomed Roldán González from Orishas into his home, who publicly expressed his gratitude.
