Tailor Manuel, the 15-year-old boy whose disappearance had been reported in Sancti Spíritus, was located this Thursday in Camagüey, where he is with his father and is safe and sound, as confirmed on social media by the same person who had spread the alert to find him.

José E. González Marín  reported on Facebook that the minor had been found after being out of contact with his family in Sancti Spíritus since Monday afternoon.

"Fortunately, the boy Tailor Manuel appeared," wrote González Marín when sharing the news, which put an end to the uncertainty about his whereabouts.

The author of the publication explained that the teenager is in Camagüey with his father and assured that he is in good condition.

"Without speculation, please, the most important thing is that the child has been found and is safe and sound, and his family here in Sancti Spíritus is much more relieved," he expressed.

The update was accompanied by a screenshot of another Facebook post attributed to Yudith González, in which it is also confirmed that Tailor is with his father in Camagüey and is doing well.

The information released does not specify when the teenager arrived in that province nor does it explain the circumstances of his journey, but it confirms the most important detail: that he is safe and sound.

González expressed special thanks to the individuals who shared the alert and collaborated to ensure that the search received wider dissemination.

"Millions of thanks to everyone who shared and supported. Thank you to all who cared," he/she wrote.

The message concluded with words of gratitude for the teenager's health and the relief that his location represents for his loved ones.

Tailor had left his home in Sancti Spíritus on the afternoon of Monday, October 19. As his whereabouts became unknown, family and friends sought help to locate him.

This Thursday, family and friends had requested public assistance to find the minor, while also reporting that the Police were involved in the search efforts.

In the alert, González requested to share the report so that it would reach people both inside and outside of Sancti Spíritus who could provide information.

"Maybe you don’t have the information, but someone who sees your post does," the first message stated, circulated while it was still unknown where Tailor was.
