The Cuban singer L Kimii announced this Thursday the signing of a contract with ONErpm, one of the leading global music distribution companies, in an Instagram post that he accompanied with images of the signing.

"I can only say thank you, thank you, thank you. Next to good people, we become better," she wrote alongside the photos.

The photographs show the artist, whose real name is Osniel Andrés Cobarrubia Alfonso, signing documents with the ONErpm logo, alongside a representative from the company.

The agreement did not come out of nowhere: the relationship between L Kimii and the distributor had already been evident since September 2026, when the single "Semana," recorded with Lenier, was released under the company's exclusive license.

ONErpm operates with over 600 professionals across 43 offices in 26 countries, providing digital distribution, marketing, and audience development for independent artists. The company has made a strong commitment to the Cuban music scene, with artists such as Dany Ome & Kevincito El 13, Jacob Forever, and Wampi among its roster.

Just two days before the announcement of L Kimii, ONErpm held a showcase during Billboard Latin Music Week at the Faena Theater in Miami Beach, where they featured Dany Ome & Kevincito El 13 alongside other Latin artists, showcasing the distributor's strategy to establish itself as a leader in the genre in the global market.

At the end of her post, L Kimii announced that they will see each other "soon" at Tropical Park, the Miami venue where she is scheduled to perform in the "Noches de Reparto" series of the House of Horror Haunted Carnival this October, alongside Gente de Zona and the duo Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13.

The announcement comes at a time of high visibility for the artist. Last Monday, L Kimii and Wampi confirmed their reconciliation after more than a year of estrangement, with plans to collaborate musically.

Born and raised in the Los Sitios neighborhood of Central Havana, L Kimii gained international recognition as a member of the duo El Kimiko & Yordy, which amassed millions of streams on Spotify and appeared on Billboard charts before disbanding in March 2022.

After emigrating to the United States via Peru, he built a solo career from Miami that in September 2025 led him to fill the Watsco Center before approximately 8,000 people. In 2026, he has continued to achieve milestones: he bought his first house and later acquired a Lamborghini, successes he publicly shared as symbols of his rise.

The signing with ONErpm solidifies her position as an independent artist backed by a top-tier distributor, in a year when Cuban talent continues to gain ground in the international music market.
