Seidy La Niña seized the opportunity to ask Rosalía a very Cuban question! The Cuban singer met the Spanish star during the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards and took advantage of the encounter to ask something that many fans of the genre would like to know: would Rosalía dare to sing Cuban reggaeton? And the interpreter's response couldn't have been more enthusiastic.

The moment was captured in a 14-second video shared by Seidy on Instagram this Friday, following the gala held on Thursday, October 22, at the James L. Knight Center in Miami.

"Man, man, girl, I would love that, I really like the cast, I truly am a fan, I'm a fan of that genre," replied Rosalía, according to the exchange shared by the Cuban singer.

And that wasn't all! Before saying goodbye, the Spanish woman wanted to know who the artist was that had just asked her that question and asked for her name. Seidy took the opportunity to introduce herself, creating a moment that was as brief as it was special for the Cuban.

Rosalía's words are not entirely surprising. The performer of LUX had previously expressed her admiration for the Cuban cast. During a performance at the Kaseya Center in Miami, the artist praised the genre and emphasized that "it has street credibility," placing it alongside rich musical traditions such as salsa, son, and flamenco.

The meeting took place on a night that was particularly significant for Rosalía, who received the Billboard Hall of Fame Award and took home, among other honors, the award for Top Latin Pop Album of the Year for LUX.

On her part, Seidy La Niña, who calls herself "The Queen of Reparto", continues to promote this Cuban rhythm from Miami, where she has developed much of her musical career.

Indeed, the genre has begun to gain more prominence on international stages. During the Billboard Latin Music Week 2026, also held in Miami, there was a panel dedicated to its expansion, featuring artists like Oniel Bebeshito and Wow Popy.

The musical connection of Rosalía with Cuba is also not new. During her LUX Tour, the artist collaborated with the Cuban conductor Yudania Gómez Heredia, who hails from Santa Clara and led the Heritage Orchestra that accompanied her performances.

Although there is currently no announcement of a musical collaboration between Rosalía and Seidy La Niña, the Spanish artist has made it clear that she is open to experimenting with the Cuban sound. Can you imagine a song by Rosalía to the rhythm of reparto?
