The Cuban artists made a remarkable presence at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards! The music from the neighborhoods of Havana took center stage at one of the most significant events in the Latin industry, thanks to Dale Pututi, Nesty, and Erick Brian, who delivered a performance filled with rhythm, dance, and Cuban flair.

The ceremony, held on Thursday, October 22 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami and broadcast by Telemundo and Peacock, brought together major figures of Latin music and featured a notable representation of Cuban artists, both on stage and on the blue carpet.

Dale Pututi, Nesty, and Erick Brian were responsible for getting the audience dancing with a medley of "Efímero," their musical collaboration released in July, and "El Doctorado," a reinterpretation of the well-known hit by Tony Dize.

With a DJ, a large group of dancers, and a set inspired by the street sound systems of Havana neighborhoods, the artists appeared dressed in denim and brought all the energy of the Cuban genre to the gala. The performance, shared by Telemundo, marked one of the most special moments of the night for the fans of the cast.

Before the presentation, Dale Pututi had already shared his excitement on social media: "The kids from Cuba singing on Billboard for the first time. The lineup on Billboard."

But the Cuban presence was not limited to the stage. Wow Popy, known for his hit "Leroley," also enjoyed the gala and walked the blue carpet of the Billboard awards in a three-piece black suit paired with white sneakers.

The repartero did not hide his happiness at being part of the event and shared several images on his social media accompanied by a message of thanks: "Thank you to Billboard Latin for the invitation, I'm still dreaming awake."

The members of Los Titi were also among the Cubans who attended the ceremony. Antonio Sierra Riera shared images of the group from the blue carpet along with a phrase that captured the excitement for the genre's presence at the event: "From Cuba to the world. Distributed at the Billboard."

Among the Cuban faces that attended the gala were also Seidy La Niña, Rey Tony, and Helabusador.

Seidy La Niña starred in one of the most notable encounters of the night when she approached Rosalía, who received the Billboard Hall of Fame Award, and asked her if she would be interested in singing Cuban reggaeton.

Who also did not go unnoticed was Eduardo Antonio, El Divo de Placetas, who once again showcased his extravagant style during the event. The singer shared images and videos of his appearance at the ceremony on Instagram, including a meeting with the artist known as La Reina, identified on social media as @machadooficial.

"The Divo alongside the Queen," wrote Eduardo Antonio in one of his posts. In the video, he can also be heard expressing his admiration with his usual enthusiasm: "Like you, handsome like you as a queen, it's spectacular, I love you."

The participation of Cuban artists in the ceremony came after another significant event for the genre. On October 20, Bebeshito, Wow Popy, DJ Conds, Helabusador, and Rey Tony participated in the panel "Reparto: Cuba's Modern-Day Soundscape," held at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach during Billboard Latin Music Week.

The meeting was dedicated to the evolution and international projection of the reparto, a genre that has been gaining traction outside of Cuba. The participation of Bebeshito and Wow Popy in the Billboard activities had already generated expectations among fans of Cuban urban music.

Additionally, the announced presence of Dale Pututi, Nesty, and Erick Brian at the Billboard 2026 had generated excitement among fans of the lineup, who finally got to see the artists perform their songs on the gala stage.
