A Cuban resident in Miami did not stay silent after a TikTok user called her husband ugly. Instead of taking the comment badly, she decided to respond with a video in which she explained why, for her, her husband is worth much more than any physical appearance.
It is about Yaliris, known on social media as "Mulatacha," who shared a strong response on her TikTok account @vidaconyaliris to a user identified as Dani, who had criticized her partner’s physical appearance.
"I have received many comments like this from this type of person, and that's why I decided to respond," explained the Cuban at the beginning of the recording, making it clear that it was not the first time someone questioned her husband's attractiveness.
Without losing her composure, Yaliris decided to explain to the user what she truly values in the man with whom she shares her life.
"Your opinion is respected, but Dani, I'm going to let you know something," she began saying before listing her husband's qualities.
"This is a man who respects the woman beside him, takes care of me, supports me, values me, and has many qualities that the nice ones lack," she affirmed.
But the most emotional part of her response came when she spoke about the role her husband plays in raising their daughter, despite not being her biological father.
"That man you see there is raising a daughter who is not his own, devoting time and sharing moments of his life that many biological fathers lack what it takes to give to their children," he expressed.
Yaliris also emphasized that her partner has taken on family responsibilities that, in her words, should fall to someone else.
"Taking on responsibilities that someone else should handle. Good night," he concluded, signaling the end of his response.
With these words, the Cuban made her position clear: for her, respect, affection, support, and commitment to family carry far more weight than physical attractiveness.
Yaliris has previously starred in other videos that have caught attention on social media. Last June, she shared the uncomfortable experience she had at a Walmart in Miami, when a stranger followed her around the store to ask for her phone number, despite her having made it clear that she was married.
A month later, she shared a lovely gesture from a stranger she encountered at a Dollar Tree, who paid for her daughter's toys after she forgot her wallet in the car.
Critiques of romantic relationships have also led other Cuban women to speak out publicly. In September, a young woman responded to those questioning her for caring for her quadriplegic husband, while in August another Cuban addressed the criticism for gifting her husband a luxury car.
