Arcángel, whose real name is Austin Agustín Santos, is a Latin reggaeton and trap artist born in New York on December 23, 1985, and raised in Puerto Rico. He began his career in the reggaeton scene in 2005, forming a duo with De La Ghetto. Many of his tracks gained significant popularity among fans of this music genre, including songs like "Agresivo," "Sorpresa," and "Mi fanática."
In 2007, the two artists decided to part ways and pursue solo careers. A year later, one of them released their debut album titled "El fenómeno," which features collaborations with Don Omar and Tempo. In 2013, they launched their second studio album, "Sentimiento, elegancia & maldad." In July 2018, they published their third studio album called "Ares." In 2019, the fourth album, "Historias de un capricornio," was released, followed by their fifth album, "Los Favoritos 2," in 2020.
