Arcángel, whose real name is Austin Agustín Santos, is a reggaeton and Latin trap artist born in New York on December 23, 1985, and raised in Puerto Rico. The singer began his career in the world of reggaeton in 2005 alongside De La Ghetto, with whom he formed a duo. Several of his songs became very popular among fans of this genre. This is the case for tracks like "Agresivo," "Sorpresa," and "Mi fanática."
In 2007, the two artists decided to part ways and continue their careers as solo artists, with one year later seeing the release of their first album titled "El fenómeno," which includes collaborations with Don Omar and Tempo. In 2013, they released their second studio album "Sentimiento, elegancia & maldad." In July 2018, they published their third studio album entitled "Ares." In 2019, they released the fourth, "Historias de un capricornio," and in 2020, "Los Favoritos 2," their fifth album.
