Denis Solís González is a Cuban singer and political activist born in 1988 and a member of the San Isidro Movement (MSI). His stage name is "Lobo Solitario." His mother passed away when he was 12 due to alleged medical negligence, and his father, Ángel Manuel Solís Torres, left Cuba in 1994 during the balsero exodus, and they have not heard from him since.

Raised by other relatives, Denis Solís had to add to his complex family situation the growing frustration with a country that did not meet his expectations. The young man has mentioned in interviews that before dedicating his music to "awakening consciousness" and combating what he calls the "communist cancer," he sang Christian music. However, his dissatisfaction with the Cuban reality led him to change the direction of his music, which he cultivates across various genres, including rap.

Before joining the San Isidro Movement, Solís was a member of the opposition organization Cuba Independiente y Democrática (CID).

In April 2016, he was arrested in the street while protesting against the confiscation of his bicitaxi, which was his main source of income. It was the fifth time he had demonstrated in this manner, and on this occasion, he was taken to the Vivac and later to the Valle Grande prison, where he remained for two months.

In August 2018, Solís participated in a concert organized by the Museum of Dissent, a project led by independent artist Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara, which was part of efforts to promote a halt to Decree 349.

That year, he also released the clip "Sociedad condenada," a reggae track that openly opposed Castro. The video began with real footage of his protest against the confiscation of his bicitaxi. "A condemned society under darkness, subjected to the grip of a murderer; if you oppose what he decides, he imprisons or annihilates you," was part of the chorus of the song.

In the past two years, Denis Solís's political messages on social media and through his music intensified, consistently appealing for a awakening of civic consciousness and a change in the country, a sentiment he expressed with a tattoo on his abdomen that reads: "Change. Cuba Free."

Denis Solís was among those detained on October 10, 2020, in Havana, when a group of activists were subjected to arrests and acts of repudiation at the MSI headquarters.

Days later, a police officer entered his home without his consent or a court order, which sparked a discussion between them that served as a pretext for him to be accused of "disobedience."

The young activist was admitted to Valle Grande prison in mid-November after being tried in a summary trial and sentenced to eight months in prison under the aforementioned charge.

His imprisonment elicited a strong show of solidarity from members of the San Isidro Movement, who remain holed up in their headquarters, with some on a hunger strike, to demand the release of the dissenting musician.
