Representatives from Cuba and the U.S. concluded on Wednesday in Havana the third round of their "Regulatory Dialogue," where they assessed the impact of the modifications made by Washington to ease the embargo and the limitations for its implementation.
This meeting was inaugurated by the Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Ileana Núñez, and the coordinator of the Cuban Affairs Office of the U.S. Department of State, Mark Wells.
This Economic Dialogue mechanism was established in October 2015 between governmental entities of Cuba and the United States to evaluate the scope and impact of the modifications introduced by the U.S. in the application of certain aspects of the embargo it maintains on the island, as well as the limitations and obstacles that still persist for its implementation.
