Homemade mango sorbet

Preparation Time

6 hours

Note

A refreshing, natural dessert that is easy to prepare, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

  1. 1 ripe mango (more if you want to make a larger quantity)
  2. Water (the amount will depend on the desired texture)
  3. Sugar to taste (optional, depending on how sweet the mango is)

Instructions

Preparation:

Prepare the mango juice:

  1. Peel the mango and cut it into slices, making sure to extract all the possible pulp.
  2. Put the pulp in a blender.
  3. Add water according to how thick you prefer the juice. A good guideline is to fill the blender to ¾ of its total capacity.
  4. Blend until you achieve a smooth, lump-free mixture.
  5. Taste the juice, and if you prefer it sweeter, add sugar to taste and mix again.

Pour into the molds:

  1. Pour the mango juice into ice molds or popsicle molds.
  2. Place the sticks in each mold.

3. Freeze:

  1. Place the molds in the freezer and leave them for at least 6 hours or until they are completely frozen.
  2. To easily unmold them, dip the molds in warm water for a few seconds before removing the ice pops if necessary.

Additional tips:

  1. Si no tienes moldes para durofríos, puedes usar vasos plásticos pequeños y colocar palitos de madera (asegúrate de que los palitos estén centrados al congelarse un poco la mezcla).
  2. You can combine mango with other fruits like strawberries or orange juice for a more varied flavor.

Enjoy these delicious mango ice pops anytime!
