Yordenis Ugás harshly criticized Ana de Armas after the actress's romance with Manuel Anido was confirmed. Anido is the son of Lis Cuesta and the stepson of the ruling Miguel Díaz-Canel.

The boxer lamented that Ana de Armas not only does not publicly condemn the dictatorship but has also now shown willingness to join the Díaz-Canel family.

"What this girl is doing is so low. She does not condemn the dictatorship, does not advocate for our political prisoners, and on top of that, she aligns herself with the family that oppresses and demeans our people and our country," Ugás wrote in the comments section of the CiberCuba article on the subject.

The boxer recalled the interrogation he was subjected to by the actress's own brother, who had been harassed by the regime.

Yordenis Ugás took the opportunity to criticize the perspective of some Cubans on the island who justify the actress's romance and express their support for it.

"One reads some comments, and Cubans, many of whom even live in Cuba and have internet and power for a short time, justifying this. What a lack of shame and dignity some Cubans have! It's truly sad! How outrageous!" he concluded.

The boxer shared a similar reflection on X.

This is not the first time the boxer has expressed criticism toward Ana de Armas.

In February, following a visit by the actress to Cuba, Ugás expressed regret that someone as famous and recognized as her does not speak out about the situation on the island.

In an interview with the Pichy Boys, the boxer stated that "the girl is not committed" to what is happening in her country.

Yordenis Ugás is one of the Cubans in exile who has used his global recognition to openly oppose and denounce the dictatorship in Cuba. In contrast, Ana de Armas has not expressed any stance on the government on the island, which has drawn significant criticism.

This Tuesday, the new edition of the Spanish magazine ¡HOLA! has confirmed with images the romance between the Cuban actress and Díaz-Canel's stepson.

The couple was spotted strolling through Madrid, dined at an upscale Italian restaurant, and were even caught kissing.

Manuel Anido holds a degree in Law and is presumably serving as an "advisor" to his stepfather. The young man has been seen on several official trips alongside Díaz-Canel and his mother, including one to the Vatican and another to the United Arab Emirates.

In May of this year, Alexander Otaola hinted on his YouTube program that there was a romantic relationship between the actress and Manuel Anido Cuesta.

"Oh, Anita! How could you have fallen so low?" the influencer questioned, amidst his usual ironies and sarcasm, about the announcement that she warned would be "big news" when it was confirmed publicly.

What once sounded like mere gossip is now a reality.
