A young Cuban moved social media by sharing the emotional moment when she reunited with her family in Cuba after three years living abroad.

The video, posted on TikTok by the user @dianalauradortamo, captures the moment she walks into her house and hugs her brother tightly, while their grandmother, through laughter and tears, approaches to join the family embrace.

"Reunion with my family 3 years later," wrote the young woman alongside the images, which quickly went viral due to the intensity of the moment and the emotional weight of the hugs.

In the comments, hundreds of users shared their excitement and empathy regarding the scene, reflecting the pain and joy experienced by thousands of Cuban families separated by emigration.

"My tears are falling here," wrote a follower. "Family unity feels deeply special, your grandparents, your little brother, that's unique," commented another.

"How much this separation is felt... You made me cry. Those hugs from old friends are the remedy for the heart," expressed a visibly moved user.

The video has already surpassed thousands of views and reactions, and it adds to a wave of similar posts where Cubans share their family reunions after years of separation, a direct consequence of the migration crisis that has forced thousands to leave the Island in search of a better future.
