A Cuban resident in Miami posted a video on TikTok to dispel rumors about a supposed massive presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in various areas of South Florida.

"There is no ICE anywhere in Miami. Stop deceiving people, liars. What you are posting on social media to terrorize us Cubans is false," the man said while showing various parts of the city.

The images depict completely quiet streets in Miami, with no visible presence of federal agents or immigration checkpoints, reinforcing the author's message against the misinformation circulating on social media.

In recent days, several profiles on Facebook and TikTok had shared videos and posts warning about alleged ICE raids in areas with a high Cuban population, which caused concern among newly arrived migrants.

So far, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and local authorities have not issued statements regarding special ICE operations in the Miami-Dade area.

"They want to scare us, but there is no one from ICE here," insisted the Cuban in his recording, which quickly began to circulate among Cuban users in the United States.
