The yacht was built in 2017 and its price is 300 million euros.

A group of activists against the climate crisis sprayed paint on themegayate Kaos, owned by Nancy Walton Laurie, heir to the companyWalmart.

The action took place on Sunday morning in Ibiza, Spain, and was carried out by the “Futuro Vegetal” collective, which operates against luxury goods on that Balearic island.

The images showed how two activists from the group used fire extinguishers to spray paint on the boat, ending the campaign. "Jets and Yachts, the party is over", summoned byExtinction Rebellion Ibiza, which calls for the prohibition ofjets private cars and the end of luxury emissions.

The impressive Kaos megayacht has been widely photographed these days while it was docked in the port of Ibiza.

It was built in 2017 and its price amounts to 300 million euros.

The vessel, flying the Jamaican flag, is 110 meters long and weighs 4,523 tons.

Its annual maintenance cost ranges between 20 and 30 million dollars, indicates the activists' note, which cites this information from the websitesuperyachtfan.com.

It can reach a speed of 19 knots and can accommodate 31 people in 16 cabins and 45 crew members in 24 more cabins.

Its owner is the youngest daughter of Bud Walton, brother and partner of Walmart founder Sam Walton.

When her father died, she and her sister inherited a stake in Walmart, which made them multimillionaires. Forbes puts his current fortune at $8.7 billion.

The group denounces that the only reason why it maintains the current economic system that leads to eco-social collapse "it is to sustain the privileges of this small privileged class."

Futuro Vegetal began its actions in Ibiza last Monday by staining the cherries of the Pacha nightclub with black paint. On Tuesday they broke into the Blue Marlin luxury beach club in Cala Jondal with banners of 'Your luxury our climate crisis' in order to denounce the "incompatibility" of supporting the lifestyle of the mega-rich with the climate crisis.

On Friday it was the turn of a private jet at the Ibiza airport and on Saturday the actions continued with the spraying of paint on a Lamborghini model luxury vehicle.
