Two dead after a machine lost control on the Holguín highway

One of the deceased was identified as Iván. The injured man's name is Dairan.

At least two people died and one was injured in a tragic traffic accident in Holguín, after the driver of a vehicle lost control and plunged off the road.

The channel of local reporter Rolando Guerra inFacebook published that the incident occurred on Thursday night on the Holguín-Guardalavaca highway, specifically on the way down the hill from the town of La Entrada towards Sao Arriba.

He assures that "a machine rushed to the side of the road, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle."

"In the accident two people - one of them identified as Iván and "his assistant" - from our popular council lost their lives and another - identified as Dairan - suffered injuries," the information states.

In addition,one person died and 20 were injured in two massive traffic accidents that occurred in Granma on Thursday around 6:00 am.

According to the CMKX Radio Bayamo station, one of them happened in Tuabeque, between Entronque de Bueycito and El Triángulo, on the highway via Manzanillo, and the other in Caureje, on the highway via Las Tunas. Both towns are located in the Bayamo municipality.
