The Cuban regime assures that it provided the US government with information about its list of "terrorists", which includes prominent personalities and influencers of exile based in Miami.
"The Cuban delegation transferred information and cooperation proposals to the US side on the activities of people living in the United States, identified by their links to terrorism, illegal human trafficking and other illicit activities," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement published in his website.
According to the note, this Wednesday the authorities of the law enforcement and enforcement bodies of Cuba and the United States met in Washington DC to "continue the exchanges on cooperation to confront terrorism, the illicit trafficking of migrants and immigration fraud, drug trafficking, among other scourges that threaten the security of both countries."
He states that the meeting "took place in a climate of respect and professionalism," as an "expression of the Cuban government's commitment to the fight against terrorism, and its determination to take all necessary steps to combat its perpetrators."
He said that "both delegations agreed that there are transnational crimes that threaten the security of both countries and that require cooperation to confront them," MINREX emphasizes.
Last year, the Cuban regime published its national list of terrorists, drawn up to pressure the United States, which days before had included the island on its list of state sponsors of terrorism.

The list of 61 people and 19 entities which Havana accuses of sponsoring terrorism in Cuba, includes several investigative files on, for example, influencers and YouTubers uncomfortable with the Havana government.
Among them, he mentions Alexander Otaola Casal, Orlando Gutiérrez Boronat, Eliecer Ávila Cecilia, Liudmila Santiesteban Cruz (Liu Santiesteban), Manuel Milanés Pizonero, Alain Lambert Sánchez (Cuban paparazzi), Jorge Ramón Batista Calero (Ultrack) and Eduardo Arias León.
Days after this announcement, Havana said that it had delivered the Interpol listing.
