Two Cubans arrested for robbing a supermarket in Mexico

The Cubans stole alcoholic beverages, toys, clothing, and food.

Two Cubans were arrested in Mexico City, after being detected by the police in an attempt to steal several items from a supermarket.

According to the Mexican journalist Carlos Jiménez, the Cubans, namedDaraimy Bizo andLeandry Jimenez, they entered a supermarket in the capital's mayor's office “Gustavo A. Madero” and “took alcoholic beverages, toys, clothes, food.”

The communicator added that the Cubans tried to leave without paying and police officers detained them and took them to the Mexico City Prosecutor's Office.

At the time of writing this note, the immigration status of the two detainees was not known, nor the decision of the authorities.
