A fire occurred on Saturday afternoon in a house in Old Havana, fortunately with no fatalities or injuries.
According to the Facebook profile La Tijera, the incident occurred in an upper floor house located on Jesús María Street, almost at the corner of Egido.
"To make matters worse, in that area they have gone more than 15 days without water supply, so they could not extinguish the unfortunate fire even with water," the report specifies.
So far, the causes of the incident are unknown.
In the comments section, the internet user Gladys Ortega Jordan confirmed that there were no injuries, but lamented that "people lost their belongings."
Another neighbor in the area named Leticia Arias denied that there was no water.
"And the firefighters are still here," he stated, alongside a photo of a fire truck that he posted around 11:00 pm.
