A Cuban from Hialeah was arrested for spying on a six-year-old girl in her home in Little Havana.

Alexander Pérez Piloto, 38 years old, was recorded while masturbating as he watched the minor through the window of the quadruple where he lives, located on Southwest 10th Street and 7th Avenue.

The incident occurred on August 21 around 6:45 am and was captured by a surveillance camera. The recording shows the man looking inside the house while touching his genitals.

In the house at that moment were a 30-year-old mother and her three young children: the six-year-old girl and two other children, eight and ten years old, and the woman saw the man at the window.

According to Telemundo 51, the Cuban got scared when someone turned on a light and fled in a black Honda Civic that was parked nearby.

The girl's father, José Larrynaga, was not at home at that moment. According to what he told Local 10, a friend called to warn him that someone might be trying to steal his tools. But when he checked his security cameras, he saw what had happened.

"I was outraged. I couldn't even work well that day because of the anger I was feeling. Our daughter is terrified. She doesn't want to sleep alone," he expressed.

According to the arrest report, after the media broadcast the video of the incident, Pérez Piloto was confronted by a relative and on Monday he surrendered to the Hialeah Police.

After confessing to the events, he was charged with four counts of voyeurism and a separate charge of burglary of an occupied dwelling.

Until Wednesday, he was detained at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center (TGK) and had not had his bail set.
