The presenter and comedian Alexis Valdés sent a message to the haters in which he took the opportunity to throw a jab at Otaola.
On his Instagram account, Alexis expressed that social media can be an excellent vehicle for communication and a symbol of individual and collective freedom and expression. However, he lamented that it is often overshadowed by people he described as "loud-mouthed ignorants."
"They use these spaces to offend, disrespect, bully, and question without any basis, knowledge, courtesy, or civility, people for whom technology arrived before education," she emphasized.
The popular actor suggested that those who suffer from such "specimens" should not pay them too much attention so as not to make them feel important.
"But we should definitely tell them a few truths that they seem unaware of. Perhaps we can convince some to join the right side. We must not lose hope in the human capacity for growth," he assured.
Alexis and Otaola have kept controversies alive in the past.
Last August, when the elections took place in Miami-Dade County and the Cuban influencer only received 12% of the votes, the comedian resorted to his character Cristinito to mock him and his political ambitions.
"Man, with those votes you got, there's no way you’ll win the mayor's office; you can't even win a sack race," Alexis said on his Instagram account.
"I want to apologize because in the end, I decided not to run in the elections. I looked at the polls, I saw how the percentages were for my colleague Coca-Cola, and it honestly made me feel sad. I thought, 'if I run, I won't even get enough votes to govern the farm,'" he added.
The influencer didn't stay silent and stated that Valdés had made him a beautiful song that he found very entertaining.
"All of that is a reflection of my campaign, all of that is a reflection of my persona, all of that is a reflection of my actions, of my agenda," he stated in a live broadcast on his Facebook, where he affirmed: "You are working for me. I find it fantastic," he assured.
